Born in the Western Coast of the United States, Melissa M. Futrell started to write at the age of four. It was not until the age of thirteen years old when she wrote her full novel and had it published at almost fourteen years old. Since then, she published a children's book, originally a project for her Japanese class during the end of her freshman year of high school. That same year, she took an interest in book blogging to share her interest in books and to write reviews about them. Now, Melissa is currently seeking her degree in International Business, a passion she has studied since the tenth grade. She also started Futrella, a hybrid publishing house that will launch in the middle of 2016. She hopes to inspire young people that you are never too young to start something you love.
